Matteo’s Place Montessori Bilingual Preschool Curriculum

At Matteo’s Place, we believe children learn best when they feel confident, supported, and excited to explore.

Our curriculum is designed around each child’s individual development, combining meaningful learning experiences, hands-on exploration, language development, and personalized support.

Through a balance of guided activities, child-led discovery, and intentional teaching, children are encouraged to build the skills they need for their next stage of learning while developing independence, creativity, and confidence.

A Curriculum Designed Around The Whole Child

Every child develops at their own pace, which is why our curriculum focuses on supporting the whole child: socially, emotionally, academically, and developmentally. Children are supported through experiences that encourage:

Language & Communication

Our bilingual environment helps children develop communication skills through everyday conversations, storytelling, music, and interactive activities in both English and Spanish.

Children build confidence expressing themselves while developing early listening, speaking, reading, and writing foundations.

Montessori-Inspired Learning

Through hands-on experiences and purposeful activities, children are encouraged to explore, problem-solve, and develop independence.

Our learning environment supports curiosity, concentration, confidence, and a love for discovering new things.

Social & Emotional Development

We believe emotional growth is an important part of early learning.

Children are supported in developing relationships, expressing their feelings, building confidence, and learning how to interact positively with others.

Individualized Support Through ABA

At Matteo’s Place, we recognize that every child learns differently.

As part of our commitment to inclusive education, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to support children who benefit from additional individualized guidance.

ABA focuses on understanding each child’s unique needs and creating strategies that support meaningful development, including communication, social skills, independence, and positive behaviors.

Our approach is child-centred and works alongside families to create consistent support that helps children feel confident, capable, and included within their learning environment.
